They continue on the path Kuwabara has chosen, and they find themselves in front of a blue door with dragon statues standing on each side. He opens the door and got scared when he saw a tiny rat. He chooses the second door to the left, stating that there is something big behind the door. Kuwabara, having the highest spiritual awareness among them, is chosen by Yusuke to decide which door they should take. Kurama warns them that they must be aware because only one door leads to the right path, and there are no second attempts to choose another door, and unavoidable traps lie on wrong doors. The group reaches a room with fifteen doors to choose from. As Seriyu attempts to respond, Hiei cuts him down with his sword. Although Seiryu seems to have the advantage, Hiei reveals that he has been merely toying with him, and easily reverses all of his ice attacks. Hiei himself said that Seiryu's mastery of ice paled in comparison to Touya's, and somehow I seriously doubt either team's power levels are disproportionate enough that, say, Genbu could overpower Bakken. The third Saint Beast, Seiryu, appears, and battles Hiei. But maybe I'm wrong, they can figure out Team Ichigaki's attacks, and they win the match. I wouldn't doubt Seiryu or Suzaku beating Rinku, and any one of them could have mopped the floor with Roto, I would bet, but against Zeru or Chu? I seriously doubt The Four Saint Beasts would survive.īut even assuming they did, none of them seem to have particularly good Spiritual Awareness, and so I don't think they'd ever see past the tricks of Team Ichigaki, which is what made them so deadly. None of them were that much more powerful than the Spirit Detective gang during the Four Saint Beasts arch, and even with the substantial power increase they all underwent from then to the beginning of the Dark Tournament, Yusuke and friends barely scraped by on most of their fights. I would say you're way over-estimating them, in my opinion.
